New at West Elm: Fashion designer creates home interiors line

Credited with re-inventing the kaftan, her signature product, she made it into a sexy, western garment to be worn at home, in the city and on the beach. Her new home collection reflects her bohemian eclectic lifestyle. She is considered the “Queen of Kaftans” (Vogue). What I think is most interesting about her personally is that she grew up in Turin, Italy, in a glass house designed by her father and inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright.

She has just teamed up with West Elm with a new line that is certain to be a win-win for southwest Florida's Coconut Point store. And offering some new options for decorating that reflects the Florida lifestyle. My favorite: the palm pillow cover that is shown at the bottom of this blog.
