Creating a beachy, whimsical look
This condo in Bonita Bay has been lovingly cared for by its out of town owners who use it for weekend family getaways and golf vacations. It was time for a facelift to replace some problem tile so we were given the go-ahead to redo the entire lanai. The owner wanted it to reflect the feeling and colors of its southwest Florida location and to give it a beachy, whimsical look, keeping in mind that this enclosed space is used for dining and relaxing.

What we did:
Replaced square tile with Porcelain Wood plank tile (has the look of a hardwood floor in a beach cottage). Around the dining area, we designed a sea glass border of green and blue pastilles to pick up the tropical colors in the room. We painted Benjamin Moore "At Sea," #666. Furniture was reupholstered in Kravet Soleil fabrics. Table decor and centerpiece designed by Spectacular Spaces. Designed tablescape.

Complete transformation! A beach house feel that reflects the tropical feel of the area.
